Kenyatta International Convention Center is an iconic national symbol that is synonymous with Nairobi city’s skyline unlike any other building in the country. Completed in 1973, this post-modern marvel has stood the test of time but is also in need of tasteful contemporary updates to keep the facility as reverent and relevant as ever. Bearing this in mind we embarked on an exercise to propose the refurbishment of the fountains (with Fontana Fountains) by designing state of the art interactive/dancing and musical fountains with synchronized lighting effects that would help give the center a modern facelift both during the day and at night.
